Veen Gard and Byrkjedalstunet have a long relationship. When Byrkjedalstunet was a cheese factory (1930-1976), Veen gard delivered its goat milk to Byrkjedalstunet. Today, Byrkjedalstunet delivers guests to Veen gard for goat shows and tasting experiences.
Take this opportunity to enjoy farm life about 10 minutes from Byrkjedalstunet by car. Currently, three dates with goat shows have been set up in July.

You will see goats being milked, taste local food, hear the story of the farm with 200 goats and meet the front characters – the goats. Children can give milk to goats and cuddle baby rabbits.
2 of the guests can join in the milking if they wish.

• WELCOME
• 4.5 min. film about the farm
• Those who will join the milking go to the barn
• There will be a “live milking” shown on a TV screen in the gathering room for the rest of the guests. Where the milking is explained, and guests can ask questions along the way.
• Tasting samples will be presented on the counter, and people can mingle
• Open farm sales for those who want to buy something
• Children will also have the opportunity to give milk to a goat outside the farm sales and cuddle with baby rabbits
